I’ve been tagged by Rob to fill out one of these social meme things…
- I’ve started and quit college three times in my life while obtaining my bachelor’s degree.
- I’ve read almost every Stephen King book published.
- Even though I am a “geek” by most definitions of the word, I hate Star Trek & Star Wars.
- I live and breathe technology, but sometimes wish I owned or managed a construction related company.
- The only TV programming I watch on the SciFi channel is Ghost Hunters.
- I often daydream of directing horror films.
- I despise MySpace and most other social networking sites, but wish I had thought of the idea (Although I am starting to like Facebook…)
- I’ve been through 2 tornadoes in my life
I know this list isn’t real exciting, but most people know a lot about me. I don’t really hide anything.

As for #4 John, as the spouse of a construction entrepreneur, when the market is good, it is gravy … but the financial requirements to be in biz are often so great that when the market tanks (like it did recently in Phoenix), it is a challenge.
Still doesn’t stop my hubbie since he loves what he does, but is food for thought.
My service business is much less capital-intensive. It just requires an internet connection, a phone line and LOTS of caffeine.

Yeah, all the extra capitol invested would be stressful, but you are not chained to a desk… Some days I really miss the fresh air, especially in the spring.
