Permalink Problems After Wordpress Upgrade?
If you upgraded to the latest version of Wordpress (2.6) and found that your permalinks no longer work (for anything other than default), I found a hack to get it all working again.

Looks like I was pointing fingers at a broken Wordpress when it turned out to be an old version of mySQL causing the problems.
I moved the site to a new server with mySQL 5+ and now everything seems to be working again.
