Today is my mother’s birthday. This is one of those milestone years, but I won’t say which one.
Let’s just say that the Memorial Bridge was in it’s very early thirties when mom was born.

I wrote about this book a few weeks ago here, but yesterday I finally ordered the book off of amazon. It was recommended again in a class I took this week at work. I really can’t wait for it to get here so I can start reading it…

I was reading a news article this morning about a couple that wanted to punish their son for taking their car without permission so they charged him with theft.
The judge set bail but the parents refused and sent the 17 year old off to prison.
Here’s the catch, turns out he was beaten to death on the way to prison by two other inmates.
Now who learned the lesson?
We got to see my little nephew, Trenton, today at Mom’s surprise birthday party which went off as a complete surprise. I’m rather impressed that we pulled it off without her knowing…
