I have been hearing about all the deaths around the country caused by taser guns issued to cops, but this one hits pretty close to home.

I might be wrong, but I don’t remember anybody ever dying from pepper spray. Maybe we should go back to a safer alternative than the new taser guns.

The last time I checked, handheld “stun guns” and tasers were not legal for North Dakota citizens to carry, even those of us with concealed weapons permits. That may have changed, but I’m not sure. My last CWP changed from type “Firearm” to “Firearm and Dangerous Weapon.” Maybe they just learned about my big mouth.

Just to add…I know the article referenced use of a Taser by law enforcement, but thought I’d add the little tidbit about civilian use.
